My Golf is acting its age. As it stands, I can drive it for about 5 minutes, and then inexplicably, the engine dies and I have to pull to the curb.

I can restart the car, it usually takes about 2 minutes of waiting, but after I start, it will once again die out after a short time.

I changed the spark plugs and made sure the car's air filter system isn't clogged up. I will get them to change my coil packs next - simply because it's under warranty, but then after that, I'm not sure what to do next.

In the meantime, I've let loose the S2K. I drove it today, it started right up, and it feels great. Weird thing? Well I didn't take out the battery in the winter, but the car started right up. I know, I'm abusing the battery, but the fact it had zero problem with springing back to life, well I have to say I really love that.

Car needs a good cleaning and a coat of wax though.
