for the nights I can remember

I'm having one of those sleepless nights. My thoughts can't stop churning. That or I have indigestion. Probably a bit of both.

If you had asked me where I'd be tonight six years ago, I could never guess.

Who knew I'd be rocking my dream car. Who knew I'd be married. A new job even. 24-70mm F2.8 firmly on my D300. Who would have thunk I'd outgrow the D70 + kit lens?

My circle of friends have changed too. We had a good night. Take-out Indian, lots of naan, great conversation, lots of silliness, lots of laughing. Wait, maybe that's why my stomach hurts.

Thing is, life is really like a ball of wax. It just keeps rolling. I don't know if that makes any sense. It felt good typing that though, and I'm sticking with it.

I often take the woman for granted, but I have to say, she's hecka awesome. Instead of coming home and crashing (like I did in the car tonight), she stayed up and made me Mac&Cheese from a box. Sure, in the scheme of things, it's not the healthiest food in the world, but just the sheer herculean effort of staying up and making me lunch goes to show that her way of saying "I love you" comes in the form of Tupperware, neatly packed in a lunchbox-carry-thingy that keeps the food warm even on a cold day.

Thanks. *poof*

wow. you're getting sentimental in your old age--not that that's a bad thing! i'm really glad you're happy with where you are.
